I follow the idea that Melanie's father was the phantom. It'd be much more tragic that way, I think. And even though we know next to NOTHING about her fiancee, my imagination made his whole life story. I'd see him as a poor miner who worked for Henry Ravenswood. I also saw him of mexican descent, but... that's really just me. I don't think Henry would have thought he'd be good enough for his daughter.

I'm really sorry for the crappy background. I hate it and it hates me. Lame shadow... I know, I know. I tried.

I made this out of self-indulgence. I saw the concept art of the ride on happy-haunts.com :[link] and I would have wanted to know what his face looked like. Something of a mix of, "Ravenswood? But you're dead!" and "Don't- please.."

It's like having a movie playing in my head, I tell ya.
